Project 365 - Week 14
We are in full Spring swing...most of the pictures will reflect that, whether spring cleaning, or springing plants/flowers. It has been a week of rain/drizzle, visiting friends, work work work, and pre-Trivia preparation. I'm changing up my post format and copying [info]junipterjupiter by kicking things off with last Sunday:

3.30.08
A visit from some northern friends led me downtown to a fantastic toy store,
thankfully open on Sundays. Shopped, ate at the Early Girl, and brought home
more Chocolate Fetish
truffle samples to share with [info]coffeefortwo as he had been
house-bound for the day. Truffle flavors sampled:
Dragon's Kiss (wasabi), Sweet and Stout (Guinness), Chai, and Grand Marnier.

3.31.08
Finished the 'yoga room' - now located in the front upstairs bedroom.
All things yoga, exercise, sewing, photos, reading...will now be in this room.
Decadent. Boring picture, but it had A Long Way to Go.

4.1.08
Interesting day...capped by a phenomenal experience at Shoji Spa
due to an odd combination of a vacationing ccyl (and family),
and an aggressive intestinal bug making its rounds. Private hot tub + view.

4.2.08
Hike day...7.5 miles...DuPont.
I.LOVE.THIS.DAY.PACK.
It's an Osprey, it is the right size and shape and color and strap combo.
[for what i'm using it for now, it has it's limitations - but i have other packs]

4.3.08
Rainy day...visited an odd locale (work) and couldn't resist
taking a picture of this roller coaster...way way up the side of a ridge line.
Typically, you would see the valley below.

4.4.08
WWC River Trail
Crazy things blooming. There was this plant, don't know what it is.
It was springing up in various phases, umbrella-like, and unfurling into a
miniature canopy, inches off the ground.

4.5.08
Is it snow?
Nope, maple tree petals knocked loose by the rain.
But my favorite photo was of this blooming bush down the street.
Today's color is YELLOW.

WOW! You have a great eye.
I love all of your pics no matter what they are of. The pics you take week after week of blossoms make me yearn for the color of spring thatI have yet to experience this year; but the yellow ones this week are awesome.

My fave this week is of the roller coaster. The contrast of the colorless, formless mist separated by the dark, starkness of barren trees from the bright yellow, curvaceous metal structure is absolutely fantastic!!!!!
The roller coaster feels more alive and sensual than the mist and trees. BRAVO!

Re: WOW! You have a great eye.
:) thanks...the coaster, i took a ton of pics and it was hard to choose. the rest of the week is much more a record than an expression. for me at least. my favorite is of the WWC ground cover plants.
